ChromeSun - The Artwork of Herb Roe

A series of India ink illustrations for "Ars Memoria (The Art of Memory)", a forthcoming book from Thornwillow Press by one of my oldest friends, the poet Jacob Rakovan. Jacob and I were high school friends; 2 members in a loose knit tribe of small town, long haired, metalhead kids in the late 80s and early 90s in a depressed little Appalachian rust belt Ohio River  town. A time long after the steel mills and shoe factories had died, but before oxycontin came to town.
