Last project for August 2010, the repaint of the "Christening of the
Eleanor" mural -before and after shot. Coming next, repaint of the
"James Marine welding scene". |

"The Centennial of Troop 1" - Boy Scout mural, Paducah, Kentucky,
has finally been
finished! Click on the thumbnails to view a full photo or a detail
of the finished piece. Now its time to do a few repaints of 3 older
murals here in Paducah and then its home to Louisiana for a few
weeks. |

It's great to be back in Paducah for the next couple of months,
working on a few projects. The first will be the "Boy Scout Mural",
pictured in a preliminary stage in the sketch above, and below as I
begin to add the new reference I've obtained since being in Paducah. As the project
progresses I'll be posting update pics here at the News page, so
keep checking back. Click on the thumbnail progress images to see a

.Several new paintings finished in this month. I've also gotten
around to revamping large sections of the website, and adding a
bunch of pics of the murals I completed last summer at the Clark
Athletic Complex in Portsmouth. Follow
this link and check them out.
Also, I will be leaving for Paducah, Kentucky in the next week, so
look for me on the road soon for some new mural projects and some
repair work of old murals. |

A few more new paintings as the month wraps up, all new Courir de
Mardi Gras series from the last month or so. Some new pieces, as I delve back into the world of Dantes
"Inferno". |

A few new finished paintings will be on display at our "April Art
Walk at the Warehouse" here at the Gallery. These will include new
Allegory series paintings XV and XVI, as well as photos by Leah
Graeff. |

Mardi Gras has come and went this year, and it was better than ever!
I went to do the Courir de Mardi Gras this year, and got
great reference for future work. I've also finished new
Allegory series paintings, with several more to be finished soon. |

Happy New Year to everyone! Here is the first finished painting of
the new year, "Fur and Gold". I'm currently working on a few new Courir de Mardi Gras paintings, some multi-figure, actiony stuff. And
we are preparing for our next show here at the Warehouse on
Garfield, to be the saturday before Mardi Gras for Art Walk. |
