"The Centennial of Troop 1" - Boy Scout mural, Paducah, Kentucky. Acrylic enamel paints on wall. This 12' x 20' mural was painted on a concrete floodwall in the summer of 2010. It is an allegorical take on the 100 year anniversary of Troop 1, the 7th oldest Scout troop in the United States. The uniforms of the scouts are chronologically arranged from left to right from 1910 to 2010. In the center is scout master Quinton S. Quin, the founder of Troop 1 and later in his career Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas.
